Rock’n 7C Outfitters proudly offers some of the best fishing in the world, in country that is as big, beautiful, and wild as any you can find. Our outfit covers a vast area; both forks of The Stillwater River, Slough Creek, as far south as The Yel
lowstone Park line, The Lake Plateau,
between The Stillwater and The Boulder Rivers, and we also travel The
Rocky Fork Drainage of the Yellowstone River.
We will guide you to many fishing
opportunities, both lakes and streams.
Our clients have the opportunity to catch cutthroat, brown,
rainbow, brook and golden trout.
We can also offer our guests some limited Montana grayling
fishing.
Our fish populations are strong
and healthy, due to an amazing amount of aquatic insect life and clear,
clean streams and lakes.
You’ll be able to match the hatch and work your line on some of the best
waters in Montana. When
fishing lakes we supply float tubes for those fishing, which allows them
to access all the water in any setting.
Our summer season camp consists of
tepee styled tents to sleep in, and a wall or fly tent to cook in,
depending on the weather.
The trips are progressive, meaning that we will move our camp to a new
area every 2 to 4 days. This
does two things; it lessens our impact on the land and also allows our
guests more diverse fishing opportunities.
Rock’n 7C Outfitters have
comfortable camps and an excellent crew who know the country.
Our guests bring their own tackle, sleeping bag, personal gear,
and waders. We provide
everything else needed for your outing! Whether
you would like a day ride to an alpine lake, or a ten day 100 mile round
trip excursion, we can plan a trip you will never forget.
We would be glad to visit with you anytime during the year to
provide information or to reserve your wilderness adventure.
However, the fishing season is limited, so book early to ensure
the best dates for you.
Since 1986, we have enjoyed introducing and sharing Montana’s Beartooth
Mountains with new friends from all over the world.
We look forward to making many more. We hope to see your face
around our campfire this season.
